THE HISTORY OF GAMEROOM PINBALL

Custompinballmachines.com began in 2019, but my original blog site GameroomPinball.com, began in March of 2010 and is dedicated to my hobby of reviving pinball games that have been neglected from over 30+ years of use. Re-theming games is my favorite choice for ones that are dated and worn out. It also allows my friends and family to play a vintage machine with a present day theme. The successful completion of my Boston Red Sox tribute machine prompted me to get my creations online for others to enjoy.
I refurbished my first machine (Super Spin) in 2006 and I haven't stopped since. Prior to this I built, a MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) machine w/ over 15,000 titles (pretty much every game you remember playing in the 1980's and 90's). Some family favorites include
Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Rampage World Tour and Golden Tee Golf!! It was designed with buttons on either side of the cabinet to play video pinball!
My game room includes some custom games such as The Hangover, Happy Gilmore, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off in addition to Halloween, AC/DC, Cactus Jacks, 1958 Williams Ten Strike, 1962 World Series and El Dorado. An Olhausen pool table and a custom Despicable Me Claw machine round out the fun!!
I have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. I am presently a Sr. Engineer in the medical device industry. Current and past projects I've worked on include a robotic knee system, sports medicine devices, neurosurgical implants, and the world's 1st totally implantable artificial heart!
